0001—How-to-Choose
Hello, welcome. Now, all autoresponder services are made for you to be able to send emails, either by broadcast or in an automated way to customers and prospects. Autoresponder services are adding additional tools to that email process and in some cases you may use some of those tools. And typically if you go inside of the product features, you'll see AI being integrated into those tools. For example, you're looking at GetResponse and you see landing pages, a website builder, email marketing, autoresponders, and even a course creator.
All of those things are going to be integrated into the primary function of collecting names and email addresses of individuals that give you permission and being able to email them for marketing purposes. And obviously for some company support is going to be an issue. Depending on how much help you need when something goes wrong or in getting set up, you will want to have a support team. But pricing plans are a definite consideration depending on how you intend to use the autoresponder and where you are in your online marketing activity.
But when it comes to the main function of sending permission based emails to individuals, how will the plans and sites compare? So without thinking about business model and just thinking about what it is you need right now, there are considerations that you need to think about when you're going to make the choice. You're trying to evaluate whether you're going to use a specific autoresponder. You need to think about what you need right now and not necessarily what you think you might need later.
When that time comes, you may need to go and upgrade, you may need to go and get a different autoresponder. But the prudent thing to do is to think about what you need right now. Do you need extra features in an autoresponder? Things like landing pages and all the other extra things that you're going to need other than sending emails. Very important consideration when you're thinking about price.
Do you need to have automations? Do you need your email to do different things once the person is already on the list? Are you going to need a course builder? There are autoresponders now that will allow you to build courses inside of their platform. Is that something that you need your autoresponder to do? Is it something nice to have or do you need it? Do you need a website builder?
Autoresponders will allow you to build a website again. It's important for you to understand. Is that something that you need to run your business? Do you have that already? Is that something that you're doing in another part of your business. It's a consideration if you need it inside of your autoresponder but if you don't is it something that you're going to want to pay for? Do you need your pricing to be inside of a budget?
Do you need your price to fit one particular parameter in terms of price and if that's your main consideration then you want to make sure that's going to be upfront. As you start to think about choosing an autoresponder do you need to have your list segmented and do you need to have tags? Is that something that your autoresponder does? All these are going to be things that are based on what you see in the features.
Some of these things you may not even know right now if you need them. However you do want to make sure that you're thinking about what you know you need right now and going to get it inside of your autoresponder as you pay. Okay so with that thanks and I will see you in another video.

0002—Essenetials
So what are the absolute bare bones necessities that you're going to need in an autoresponder? As previously discussed, there are lots of things that you can get and you will see in an autoresponder service, but there are going to be certain things that you must have in anything that you're going to purchase and you're going to depend on and you're going to use in this part of your business.
First and foremost, you need to have dependable support. Something will always go wrong with your autoresponder service. You may have a problem that you need to be able to fix and you're going to want to be able to get on with someone from that company, typically 24 hours a day, depending on where you live in the world. You don't just want to depend on someone that's going to be available in your time zone.
You want to be able to get on with this individual or these individuals. When something is happening and you've got to fix it and you have to fix it fast. In some cases you are going to have to be willing to pay for for a certain level of account in order to have this level of support. It's going to be worth it to pay for the support. You do want to be able to get ahold of someone when something has to be changed.
Obviously you need to be able to collect names and email addresses with permission. That's the function of an autoresponder. You want to be able to store these individuals. So you're going to want people to put their name and email address someplace, whether they do it by a purchase or they do it by coming to a site and then they indicate they're willing to receive marketing emails from you.
You want that to be the case. So that's a bare minimum. It needs to be brandable with your domain. So you want to be able to send emails with your domain as you as the brand. So if you have yourdomain.com and that's your domain, you want your emails to be sent with your domain.com in that email. So that is a bare minimum. It must be part of your process.
That also means that you want to be able to use DMARC and dkim. This is beyond the scope of this course to really discuss what these features are, but these are basically elements that communicate with all the email service providers that your email is legitimate and that you are sending emails with permission based on the company. So you want to be able to have change DMARC and DKIM with the company that you are going to work with, you want to be able to have automated sent emails based on something that happens.
So when someone joins your marketing list or someone makes a purchase, you want to be able to have that email service send them an email automatically based on something that you set up ahead of time. So you don't have to be there all 24 hours a day in order to send email to people. That's what an autoresponder for. It autoresponds based on certain parameters. You want to be able to do that for multiple parameters inside of your account.
So that's a must. You need dependable deliverability. So you want to make sure that if you're going to pay for a service and you're going to have emails, you're going to collect names and email addresses. You want those emails to get to your customers. And so this might mean that you're going to have to do some research, you might have to do some discussion within the people within your niche to determine whether or not a service is going to have deliverability that you can depend on that you pretty much know that your customer is going to be getting your emails on a regular basis when you are sending them, whether they're automatic or whether you're sending them by what is called a broadcast.
And you want to be able to segment those individuals based on their activity, and that's called tagging. So every activity that a person undertakes inside of your business, you want to be able to put them in a category so that you can email them according to that category. That's what marketing is. So you want to be able to segment all of the people that are going to be on your list based on whatever they're doing inside of your business.
You want to have that feature in any autoresponder company that you choose to undertake with. And obviously you're going to need to have automations based on activity that's slightly different than automated sending. In other words, when someone decides to move from being your prospect to your customer, you want to be able to either put tags into them or you want to be able to move them into another part of your list.
And you want to have those activities that are available to you inside of your autoresponder. Now that's not necessarily going to be a deal breaker. It's probably the last thing that we're listing here because it's something that again is a necessary function. But if you don't get it, there are other ways for you to work around it. These are the essentials you're going to need in an autoresponder as you choose.
Okay. So that. Thanks. And I will see you in another video.

0003—Niche-Based-Feedback
Let's talk about getting niche based feedback to making a choice about your autoresponder and thinking about what features are going to matter most and which ones are going to perform and behave the way you need them to perform. One thing you need to keep in mind, when you start looking at autoresponders and you're looking at conversation and you're listening to people, all businesses don't use autoresponders in the same way.
They all use them in a different manner. So whether you're an online business or a brick and mortar business, you need to be specific in the people that you are seeking to determine what their experience is. And all online businesses use an autoresponder in a different way. So even just having an online business, that's not enough of a demarcation to determine well, if that person's experience is going to be one way, mine's likely to be the same.
It may not be because there are just as many different business models in online business spaces as there are people. If you're going to use the feedback of other people, you have got to try to get as close to your sub niche category in terms of what people experiences as you possibly can. So people that are doing close to the exact same thing you do or doing the exact same thing you do, if those are the conversations that people are having, that's where you want to start looking for feedback about a specific autoresponder that could happen inside of a Facebook group, if it's a sub niche related group, a school community or an online forum.
Any place where you can find individuals that are gathering that do pretty close to the same thing you're doing, you're going to be able to get feedback about your specific autoresponder use. You do need to be careful about using the experiences of other people inside of the autoresponder company, social media group. So for example, you may see aweber, getresponse, activecampaign, they may have a Facebook group, you may join that Facebook group.
Individuals there may be having an experience and because their business model is different, it may be totally different than yours. And so you've got to be careful about taking their experience and putting it on top of yours to start thinking about whether or not you need to choose that autoresponder. Whatever experiences they're having, they're probably real experiences, but they could be the total opposite of what you're going to need in terms of making a decision.
Their conclusions may not help you at all. The best of all worlds is if you operate in some kind of paid mastermind may want to find out the experiences of individuals who are doing close to the same thing you're doing so that you don't have to be public about what's happening in your business inside of a social media group or inside of a group that's talking about autoresponders, and that limits the exposure to what it is that you're discussing.
Again, you always want to make sure that you're getting an autoresponder that has good support so that you can talk about your issue with the company itself. But outside of that, whatever your experience is, you do want to have niche based discussion with other people that are doing what you do. Okay, so that thanks and I will see you in another video.

0004—Affiliate-Marketing-Concerns
Now, if you do affiliate marketing as part of your business, you're going to have a different set of concerns. If emailing promotional links of other vendors is part of your business model, it's part of how you generate revenue. You're going to have to determine that this is a permittable practice. And so you will need to go to the autoresponder itself and you will need to find out in their faq.
You may have to go to search. You also may want to seek the guidance of other people in your sub market or sub niche to determine if the specific autoresponder you're using does allow affiliate marketing, and if so, what are the best practices in your particular sub niche. They may not always be possible. At minimum, you do want to make sure that you clarify with the autoresponder itself that they do allow you to do affiliate marketing.
You do not want to get into affiliate marketing while you're using the autoresponder only to determine it's going to be something that they don't permit and they don't want to be used in their service. Some of these companies will require that you have a sending limit according to their multiple. And so if that's the case and part of your business model requires you to send one or two emails in the course of the day, that's going to be a consideration in terms of cost.
So you need to think about that. If affiliate marketing is part of your business model and that's the case, then you're going to be looking then at an autoresponder that may allow you to send unlimited emails at your particular level or tier, as long as they do allow for affiliate marketing. So the first bar is going to be do they allow for affiliate marketing as part of the use of their autoresponder?
Now, even if they're allowing unlimited sending today, that doesn't mean that there's going to be the same practice forever tomorrow. So it's possible that even one that allows you to send unlimited today could change in the future. You want to be aware of that and be watching that as you work with the autoresponder company that you choose. But you need to make your decision obviously based on what is, not on what may be tomorrow.
And so if you're looking at an autoresponder company and you need an unlimited sending company because you do affiliate marketing, you may need to make the decision for today and not necessarily based on what may be or what may happen in the future. One thing that you may need to do in order to work around. An autoresponder's policy is that you may send individuals to a domain that you control.
So in other words, sending people to your website is always permissible. And so if you do affiliate marketing, you may need to go through the practice of sending an individual to a domain that you control, and then from that domain direct that person to the affiliate products that you are promoting or to the vendor's product using your affiliate link. Okay? So with that, thanks, and I will see you in another video.

0005—Your-Business-Model
Talk about your business model and how you're going to be using an autoresponder inside of your business or the online part of your business. And it's a related concern to the same one that we were discussing when it comes to affiliate marketing. How are you going to be using the autoresponder? How often are you going to have to send emails and how big of a segment are you going to have to send emails to that specific part of your list that you want to communicate with?
Are you going to be emailing only certain segments? If so, how often are you going to. And is that going to impact the cost if you're going to be using a metered base or a multiple base autoresponder price system? Does your business lend itself to having to keep contacts active on your list over time? One of the best practices that autoresponder companies will state and is considered is that you clean your list or in other words, that you delete inactive contacts over time because they take up storage costs.
And now that companies are charging for the amount of emails that you send, inactive contacts could actually cost you if they're not opening your emails on a regular basis. It's a consideration you're going to have to make. Do you collect the names and email addresses of individuals that make purchases and do you market to those individuals? So in other words, you might have individuals that opt in to your list and that might be the people that are going to actually buy from you, or you might be collecting names and email addresses through an API or through some automated process because they are interacting with you in some other area.
And so if you collect those names and email addresses, are they going to be good email addresses of individuals that are actually going to be engaging with you on a marketing basis? So you need to determine where you're collecting names and email addresses and if they're going to engage with you on a marketing level. One thing that you may want to think about is breaking up your processes and distributing them to distinct autoresponders.
So you may have one autoresponder that you may use to collect the names and email addresses of individuals that purchase from you. You may then use another autoresponder company in order to market to people, whether they are prospects or customers. And so if you think about where you're going to be breaking up your cost, in some cases it may make the most sense to break up your processes between autoresponders instead of having it all in one place.
Most importantly, you do have to know where your revenue is coming from when it comes to email and some cases an email company will give you tracking. This is going to be important because you want to make sure that email that you're sending is actually generating revenue because you're going to be paying more for metered email in multiple based systems or being in higher tiers in unmetered cases if you can.
Before you get started, determine whether an autoresponder company will allow you to do tracking of some kind, if that tracking is going to be easy to implement and if that tracking will tell you when an individual is making purchases from you so you can make an informed decision based on the economics of how you use email. Your business model will dictate whether or not you use a specific autoresponder or autoresponders.
There is no one size fits all. You need to be flexible and creative in some cases to think about where your revenue is coming coming from, how you're generating it and how email plays into that factor. Okay so that thanks and I will see you in another video.

0006—Sendy-and-Self-Hosted-Options
You may come across a self hosted option like Sendy that will allow you to install software on your server and to be your own email service. When you're shopping for costs, one option that you're going to come across, you'll see an email platform like Cindy and it's basically one where you are self hosting the entire autoresponder system. So instead of using something like AWeber, GetResponse or Mailchimp servers, you're going to be using one that you control.
So it's going to run and operate on your server and typically you'll have a virtual private server or a private server and you'll be running this software. Self hosted options require software platforms like Cindy. So you do need to have a gateway and so Cindy is going to be the gateway between you and other services like Amazon SES which actually supply the email. So it's Cindy or the service plus a service like Amazon SES.
Other people may use something like SendGrid. However, the most cost effective way to self host your email and attach to an email service is going to be Amazon scs. You do need to be proficient in doing the setup and so this is going to be something that you're either going to have to do yourself or you're going to have to hire out. Whether you're talking about setup, maintaining the server, or doing repairs on the server when that is needed, Cindy will assist you in keeping up with some changes.
But it is going to be your responsibility to keep up changes with the inbox standards. So whenever Gmail or Yahoo or Hotmail, whatever their standards are, that's going to have to be something that you are going to want to be aware of because you are hosting the actual email. Now if you are not technical and you can't hire out somebody to manage this on your own, you may want to consider other options.
And by other options we obviously mean that you want to have one that's going to be hosted itself and not self hosted. Now the way to look at this though is that if what you're paying right now would be equal to someone helping you or assisting you in maintaining and setting up the server, it may be a viable option for you. The most important aspect of understanding Cindy and other cell phones and options is that when you see the cost, it's not just a cheaper way to run an autoresponder.
You have more responsibility in the maintenance on the technical side than you would when you hand it over to a company like AWeber, GetResponse, Mailchimp or Constant Contact.

0007—Getresponse
Getresponseitersponse.com With GetResponse, there are no sending limits as of the recording of this video. They do allow unlimited sending. So if you have a business model that requires you to send daily emails, that's going to be feasible. With GetResponse. Pricing tiers are going to be based on the number of subscribers that you have and there are going to be some additional features at higher tiers, but you are basically going to be paying for the number of subscribers that you have.
Inside of GetResponse, this is going to vary from time to time. There are features such as advanced automation. This is not the normal automation. These are very advanced triggers. There are webinars and CRM tools that are going to be at premium plans at higher levels. Again, those are not necessarily going to be what you are going to need to have. They're going to be nice to have elements.
GetResponse is widely accepted for affiliate marketing activities. You are going to want to make sure that you understand their specific policies. Again, you may need to send people to your website and your landing page and then onto your affiliate link. But it is generally accepted that you can do affiliate marketing on GetResponse. Tagging and segmentation are going to be available on GetResponse and you could send targeted messages based on having multiple lists.
So GetResponse will give you automation capabilities. Now, because GetResponse right now offers unlimited sending, you're going to want to monitor this. It's possible that they may shift to metered sending or capped email or capped email limits. What's happening today doesn't mean that it's going to remain the same tomorrow. So if you move over there, you're going to want to be aware of that factor. You can have assistant.
GetResponse will allow you to have an GetResponse will allow you to have a delegate so you can have plans where so you can select a plan where you can have an assistant help you to manage your GetResponse account. One thing to note that has been discussed in various forms is that there's a process in getting your entire list moved over and getting GetResponse to accept all your contacts.
If you start sending and then those individuals don't Open your email, GetResponse may ask you to purge that list. So this is not going to be. You just move all your contacts over and just going to start sending emails and everything's going to be the exact same as maybe you used to use on the previous platform. There's a process. It is iterative. Getresponse is going to monitor when you bring over.
When you bring over new contacts, especially if you're going to be a new customer. Those are the parameters of getresponse. So with that, thanks and I will see you in another video.

0008—Mailer-Lite
Welcome back. One autoresponder alternative is called Mailerlite. Mailerlite does have a free plan. And in the free plan, you're going to have a subscriber limit of up to 1,000 subscribers. So if you just want to try it out, you can try it free for up to 1,000 subscribers. When you do that, you can send up to 12,000 emails per month. And so that's just a way for you to test the plan.
If you already have a list and you're already sending, you just want to find out if Mailerlite is going to work for you. There are paid plans. Once you do that, they're all based on your subscribers. So they're going to scale based on the number of subscribers that you have and you're going to be able to send unlimited emails. So this is another plan that you can send unlimited emails.
They do have features for advanced and higher tier plans and they do allow for affiliate marketing. However, they do have very strict parameters. This is going to be something that you want to confirm with Mailerlite before you start to use them to determine if the kind of affiliate marketing that you're doing is going to be acceptable to them. Once again, best practice is send people to your website and then send people on to the affiliate link from your website.
In terms of list management, tagging and segmentation are both available. So you will be able to have separate lists or you'll be able to manage one list with many tags. Now, Mailerlite is like all of the other autoresponders. You're going to have to follow their activity and it is very possible that you're going to get an email stating that they may have sending limits in the future. As of right now, they do not.
So you want to be aware of that. You can have an individual to work with you. So if you need help managing your email with Mailerlite, you can get someone in order to help you. So Mailerlite is another alternative that gives you unlimited sending as of the recording of this video. Okay, so with that, thanks and I will see you in another video.

0009—Birdsend
We're now looking at Birdsend Co Birdsend is unique in some ways. Although its pricing is based on the number of subscribers that you have, it does boast to have some of the lowest pricing in the information marketing industry, primarily because it is new and it is looking for new customers. As of the recording of this video, you do have options to upgrade your tier as your list grows.
As of the recording of this video, Birdsend does offer unlimited sending. So this is across all of your paid plans and so this will accommodate daily emailing and if you do have to email more than one time in a day, the platform should accommodate There are additional features There are a limited number of additional features including automation and advanced segmentation. However, the platform is focused on giving you a platform in order to send both automated and and broadcast emails.
Birdsend does understand affiliate marketing and is compatible with practices in the affiliate marketing niche or sub niche. However, you should be aware of their specific limitations in terms of email and you'll want to know their specific policies. And until you know their exact policy on affiliate marketing, you should follow the best practice of sending people to a link on your website. Birdsyn does support tagging and segmentation and does give you the ability then to target messages to those segmented list, so it does give you that level of customization.
Right now the founder states that the company is looking to build its base of new customers and so sending is unlimited as of the recording of this video. That doesn't mean that it will remain that way and so you will want to keep up with any updates that the company does. 0010—SystemeIO
System IO is an all in one course platform, allows you to sell both physical and digital products and as part of the platform there's an email area allowing you to send newsletters which are like broadcast emails and campaigns which are automated. The entire platform has automations which include the email platform. To integrate with the platform you can include ActiveCampaign along with the platform. And to use the email platform you can either use Systeme IE or you can use a SendGrid API key to assist you with deliverability.
However, Systeme IO does have a built in autoresponder so the pricing is more based on the platform and less on your email subscribers. Because the platform is not a dedicated email platform, it does allow for unlimited email sending. It's really tied to the course platform more than anything else and the features are more based on the platform themselves, so it's not so much based on email. So you do have marketing automation tools, they're integrated with the entire platform.
Corresponding LeadSystem IO is affiliate friendly and does have tools available for marketers even though again it's not a dedicated email platform within their platform. You can tag and segment your list and segment your subscribers. And the platform, although not a dedicated email platform, currently does use unlimited sending but can change in the future for your entire management of your platform, you can delegate those duties to another individual that is inclusive of email.
So if you need someone to manage your email inside of your system IO platform, you can do that with a team that you have available. And again you can integrate SendGrid or ActiveCampaign to the entire platform in order to send your emails. So you can use these two email options. Okay, it's with that thanks and I will see you in another video.

0011—Mailchimp
We'll now discuss mailchimp. Mailchimp has pricing tiers and it's going to be structured around your subscriber count so the more subscribers you have, the more that you are going to pay. Now, there is a free plan with mailchimp and that's what most people look to mailchimp to do in order to get started. And it basically gets you started with the platform so you can tell if you're going to be using it.
Over time, when you upgrade to paid, you will unlock more advanced tools. What's important about mailchimp when it comes to pricing is that there is a sending limit for all of the plans. Now, all paid plans offer increasingly higher limits, but there are limits and those limits are going to be a multiple of your subscribers. So you want to pay attention to that number when you determine if you want to work with mailchimp.
All of the paid tiers unlock their premium features. The advanced automation, demographics, A B testing. These are going to be things that you may find useful once you begin to email on a regular basis. If you are an affiliate marketer, mailchimp is not known to be affiliate marketing friendly and so they do restrict certain affiliate links. You'll need to make sure that you want to check your terms again.
Mailchimp is going to be a platform where you're going to use the best practice if you're going to do affiliate marketing at all. And even if you do choose to send people to your website or to send them onto an affiliate link, you want to make sure that this is going to be something that they will find acceptable if you're going to use the platform on a regular basis.
Mailchimp, like most autoresponders, does support tagging, which means you're going to be able to segment and you'll be able to group your audience in different categories so that you can email them on a regular basis. Now, because they've already created a multiple based system, you can expect that there won't be any major changes with the exception of maybe those limits may change if you choose to get started with mailchimp.
That is what you'll want to watch if the limits will change over time. Now, mailchimp does have multi user access, so you will be able to get someone to help you with your account if you choose to hire that part out. And mailchimp is known for its integrations and integrates with a number of platforms. Even before you use a third party system like Zapier, a number of cloud based platforms integrate naturally without having to use make or zapier.
And that can be an advantage of working with mailchimp if you're going to be using different platforms that are cloud based and you need your autoresponder to integrate with those platforms and you want to do that without having to pay the additional fee of the third party cloud based connector. So mailchimp does not have a limited sending, does have a number of integrations available, and will allow you both basic and advanced targeted messaging.
Okay, so with that, thanks and I will see you in another video.

0012—Brevo—Sendinblue
Autoresponder Send in blue is now called Bravo. In terms of pricing, tiered Bravo is structured on monthly email volume. So you're not structuring your pricing based on how many subscribers you have. It's going to be based entirely on how many individual emails are sent. And to be clear, each individual that receives an email is counted as an email in the case of Bravo. And so if you look at their plans, they will count those emails to determine which tier you're going to be on and that's how you're going to be billed for that particular month.
So theoretically there are no sending limits because once you're hitting up against the limits, you'll just be moved up to a different plan in order to continue sending. And like other autoresponders, there are advanced features including automation, SMS and CRM tools. All of those are going to be available in the paid plan. And so you may want to test the free plan to determine if Bravo is going to work from you.
You get up to 300 emails per day and then you can determine which features you're going to need. But Bravo does send emails, both automated and broadcast. Brevo is generally suitable for affiliate marketing and they are not opposed to it. They do require that your campaign comply with anti spam policies. You are going to want to clarify what that means before you begin to do affiliate marketing in Bravo.
You will be able to tag and segment your list and to personalize your options and do targeted messaging. That's for all of the paid plans. Because they've already implemented a system that's based on sending, you aren't likely to see any changes. What you may see is reduced limits for specific plans which would be in effect a price increase. And Brevo allows for multi user access, which means you can have individuals to work with you on your email management.
And like other platforms, you will have third party integrations. Although in many cases you may need the third party cloud based connector Zapier or something like it. And just as a side note, In May of 2023, SendInBlue was rebranded as Bravo. They did this to reflect the fact that the company wanted to be known for more than email marketing. Okay, so with that, thanks and I will see you in another video.

0013—ActiveCampaign
Well, now look at the elements of activecampaign in terms of how activecampaign is priced. It's structured based on first the number of contacts that you have and that's regardless of which plan you're going to be on. You'll have a base rate that you will pay. There are sending limits to activecampaign. Each plan does have a monthly email send limit and that's going to be calculated based on a multiple and if you want to go over that amount you can pay for an Elbridge or you can move up to a higher tier plan.
The higher tier plans do offer advanced features like a CRM, automation and predictive selling with AI and custom reporting. Those are going to be more advanced. In addition to what they are offering, ActiveCampaign does permit affiliate marketing while at the same time emphasizes that you need to comply with anti spam policies as well as best practices. Now this is going to be a case where if you're going to use ActiveCampaign, a good idea not to send the naked link but to send individuals to your website first and then have them click over to the vendors product of which you are an affiliate.
ActiveCampaign does provide tagging and segmentation that you can use across multiple lists. Because their implementation has already taken place where they have applied sending limits, you can expect it's unlikely to see additional pricing increases. However, you will want to monitor the sending limits in particular because a reduction in sending limits could be a de facto price increase. You can delegate some of the work over to an outsourcer or someone who is working on your team.
They can have access to your account. ActiveCampaign integrates with a number of cloud based platforms. Whether through direct integration or through webhook. You can typically access ActiveCampaign from many cloud based services. Okay, so with that thanks and I will see you in another video.

0014—Kit
We'll now cover Kit, which used to once be called ConvertKit in terms of pricing tiers. There is a free tier which is the newsletter tier and you can manage up to 10,000 subscribers with basic features and the Creator Plan which gives you some advanced tools based on the number of subscribers and then Creator Pro with all of the features based on subscribers. Kit allows for unlimited email sense without additional costs, Features will give specific access based on your subscriber level and ConvertKit is considered to be appropriate for affiliate marketing.
And as is the case with all autoresponders, you are going to want to make sure that your definition of affiliate marketing meets theirs. Kit does offer tagging and segmentation, that means you can target your messages across multiple lists and because email sending is unlimited, you will want to watch to determine if ConvertKit moves toward metered email sending. Higher tier plans do give you the ability to allow a delegate to manage your account and there are a number of direct integration options within ConvertKit as well as being able to connect to third party cloud based connector Zapier.
So if there is an application in the cloud or otherwise, you will generally be able to connect to Kit which used to be called ConvertKit. Okay, so that thanks and I will see you in another video.

0015—Drip
A lesser known autoresponder company is called Drip and Drip does have subscriber based pricing and what they call a single plan structure. So all users receive access to the same features and all the pricing adjustments are going to be based on the subscriber count. Drip currently has unlimited email sends so there is no limitations or metered based pricing on the amount of emails that you are going to send.
Drip does have all of the standard automations and tools that you would need in order to integrate and do more with your autoresponder than just send emails. Now when it comes to affiliate marketing, Drip does have a policy and this really does require that you do have a conversation with Drip to determine if the kind of affiliate marketing that you do will line up with your company. You also do want to make sure that you're adhering to best practices of sending individuals to your website rather than direct to affiliate links.
Standard tagging and segmentation is possible using Drip and because this is an unlimited send email system you can expect that there will be changes. So you are going to want to monitor this as you get started using Drip. You can delegate some of the work of using Drip to another individual if you want to work with them and there are third party integrations available. This is outside of those you might use with Zapier.
You can also use them with Drip. Okay, so with that thanks and I will see you in another video.

0016—Mailvio
Another autoresponder company founded by an information marketer is called mailvio. Mailvio does have one time payment and subscription options in terms of their pricing tiers. Importantly to this conversation, mailvio does not have sending limits on its plans. You can have unlimited email sends according to the tier that you find yourself on with their specific plans. Mailvo does have all of these standard automations depending on what it is that you are going to be doing outside of sending automated emails and broadcast emails.
Mailvio is affiliate marketing friendly and is designed with affiliate marketers in mind. It's assumed when you're using mailvio that you will be doing affiliate marketing, so you will not require any specific conversation or any specific policy. You will want to make sure that you are in compliance with any spam policies. Mailvo does allow for all of the standard standard tagging and segmentation and and you may not have an expectation that there will be changes based on metered based pricing.
As of the recording of this video, Milvio does have multi user access. So if you have a delegate that you want to have assist you in creating your email marketing approach, you can have a delegate and there are integrations available. You can do that via their API which will require some technical ability. And as of the recording of this video, Milvio does integrate with Zapier if you're not technical and you do want to integrate with with other platforms.
Okay, so for that thanks and I will see you in another video.

0017—The-Export-Process
Welcome back. You're now inside of an actual list in GetResponse. We're here to demonstrate the fact that every autoresponder company you work with is going to have a different process that you will need to figure out in terms of exporting your list. This is probably one of the first things you need to do when you sign up with an autoresponder company and you begin to build your list, and it's something that you want to do on a daily basis, is to understand how to move your list out of the current autoresponder.
In order to do this inside of a list and getresponse, what you would do is to go to the individual list. You're going to see some ellipsis, and you're going to click on this export command. You're going to give your file a name. But what's important, you will determine how you want to export the list. In most cases, you will use a CSV file. What you will then do is you will give that file a name.
And when you click on this element, this is going to export your list to one specific file. And with GetResponse, you can download your file instantly to your hard drive. And again, every autoresponder company is going to be different. Inside of Aweber, you're going to go to your Subscribers tab. You will click on your subscribers. You will see here inside of your subscriber screen that there's an element that says export CSV.
And this will export all of your subscribers into a CSV file. So this is a process that you're going to want to be familiar with when you start working with a company. Okay, so that. Thanks and I will see you in another video.

0018—Use-One-List-and-Many-Tags-to-Manage-Your-Lists
Welcome back. If in the past you have managed your email marketing relationship by having multiple lists, in many cases a number of multiple lists, you may want to start the process of consolidating those lists with the company that you're going to be working with. And it is something that you can ask support to either assist you with or to give you an exact process. You're looking at the process inside of GetResponse because there is a specific process with this company.
In some cases, the company Aweber will assist the process by consolidating the list for you using their support system that is as of the recording of this video. It is something that you can ask and you do want to allot the time that it would take for their support in order to undertake this process because your email marketing list could be more transient. One of the ways to manage the process is that instead of using multiple lists for every purpose is to use one list for all purposes and then using tags within that list.
And this will require you to understand your autoresponder so that you can tag your subscribers for any and every purpose. Having multiple tags will allow you to use some of the same processes that multiple lists will also do. In most cases, campaigns can be run and managed and triggered based on the use of tags. So inside of whichever autoresponder company that you decide to work with, another initial task that you'll want to undertake is going to be understanding how to tag users for every purpose and to use those tags in order to run and manage your campaigns.
Okay, so with that, thanks and I will see you in another video.

0019—There-More-To-It-With-a-High-Level-Sub-Account
Welcome back. Now, you may have use of a High Level sub account and you may notice that there is an email system that you can attach to. You can attach a service like Mailgun or SendGrid, and you can start to use it as an autoresponder. However, there's more to it than just attaching the technical part and it's important for you to understand all that. Of course you're going to have to authenticate your domain.
You'd have to do that even if you were going to use something like aweber, getresponse or mailchimp. So that part is something that's baked into the autoresponder process. The part that may not be baked in is the fact that if you choose to use your High Level subaccount and you're going to use a domain that you choose with that subaccount and you're going to email with it, you need to warm up your domain.
That means then that's going to be a gradual process. So you're not just going to import all of your contacts and start sending emails from that specific account in that specific domain. You need to build up to that process. And that means starting with small batches and progressively increasing the volume over several weeks. You need to then monitor engagement metrics such as open rates and bounce rates during that period of time.
Now, High Level does have a process, but this is something that is going to be close to you running your email on your server. You need to test your email sending and to test to make sure that your setup is working correctly and that your emails are going to be delivered to a specific inbox. And then you've got to monitor and optimize. So this entire process with High Level is not one that you're going to turn on, set and forget.
This is a process that you'll need to take an active role in on both the technical and the management side. This also means keeping track of what's happening with the various inboxes and email services. So be aware that if you choose to use your High Level sub account as a way of sending email, you're doing it on the basis of cost. You will bear some of the management process either with a team or with something that is part of your own process.
Okay, so with that, thanks and I will see you in another video.

0020—Conclusion
In conclusion, you now have what you need in order to make final decisions about your autoresponder pricing. What we have now, what we've looked at, what you've now seen is not a full list of autoresponders, but you should now have criteria to evaluate pricing fairly across autoresponders, assuming that the support is going to be dependable and some of this you'll need to determine inside of your sub niche, inside of your group to see if that is something that others have found in their experience.
Assuming that you can collect names and email addresses and in the cases, and in most cases this is going and this is going to be true in most cases. In most cases you will be able to automate it. In most cases you'll be able to do automated sending. In most cases you'll be able to achieve dependable deliverability and you'll be able to segment based on tags and you'll be able to generate automations based on activity and integrations.
The question that you'll want to consider is whether the pricing that you are achieving with a particular autoresponder that you need to evaluate closely is whether their pricing includes unlimited sending. In some cases the sending is determined by a multiple in some cases that while there may be no limit, you could be moved into a higher price plan with additional activity. So this is something that you will now need to pay close attention to.
Even if the company that you're working with currently does not do it. Even if the company that you're working with currently does not have those limits, you'll want to keep an eye on their on their pricing page because if pricing changes for new customers, there's a high likelihood that existing customers will eventually be brought under that pricing. And if that's the case, if the price is metered, does that fit your budget and your business model?
This is something that, this is something that will be individual to anyone. This, this is something that will be and this is an individual factor with every business. It could be that the meter and tiered pricing could fit your business model and given all of the other trade offs is the most is the best thing for you to do is to work with an autoresponder with that kind of pricing.
But this is something now that you'll want to pay attention to. Okay, so with that thanks and I'll see you either another video or in another course.
